We got our names engraved in a lock and placed it on the Pont Neuf bridge to celebrate our 15th anniversary. Maybe we'll see it when we return for our 25th in a few years?
Next we braved the largest building in the world (the Lourve) but had a successful day thanks to our audio guide downloaded to our phones before our trip. Both of us loved the Greek statues the best, especially the Venus de Milo. Mona Lisa wasn't so bad, either! 😊
In the evening we took a boat cruise on the Seine to see the buildings and monuments floodlit at night. The piece de resistance to this amazing day!
Two other things to note: We were part of a special moment today in St. Chapelle when a man asked Ruben to take a picture of him and his girlfriend, but then he proposed! It drew a crowd and was neat to witness. And...Ruben has a step counter in his phone that he swears is accurate. We walked 17 miles today, and 16 on our busiest day in London. I know it sounds crazy, but today we essentially walked for 6 hours with the tour and the Louve and had to go quite a ways to get to and from the boat landing (even with the metro). Plus walking to dinner, around the Neighbourhood, etc. Walking off our delicious food! More on that tomorrow.

Amazing! Love the bridge and did I not warn you about the walking lol! Calf massage time! <3
